Role Overview

A promoter represents a company or brand, interacting with potential customers to explain products, demonstrate features, and encourage purchases.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote products/services to customers in person (malls, stores, events, exhibitions, etc.)

• Demonstrate product features and explain benefits clearly

• Engage customers and answer questions

• Distribute samples, flyers, or brochures

• Encourage sales and meet daily/weekly targets

• Set up promotional displays or booths

• Collect customer feedback and report to management

• Maintain a positive brand image

Required Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Sales and persuasion ability

• Confidence and a friendly personality

• Basic product knowledge (training usually provided)

• Ability to stand for long hours and work in public environments

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in any discipline)

• Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus but not always required

Work Environment

• Shopping malls, retail stores, supermarkets

• Events, trade shows, or roadshows

• Flexible shifts, often including weekends

Salary

• ₹15,000 to ₹18,000 per month (entry-level)

• Incentives/commissions may be added based on sales
