Job Purpose

To perform MIG welding on gearbox housings, fabricated structures, and steel components according to approved welding procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding as per WPS and drawings.
Prepare components for welding.
Ensure weld quality and penetration requirements.
Carry out visual inspection of welds.
Maintain welding equipment.
Follow safety standards and PPE requirements.

Skills Required

MIG welding expertise.
Ability to read fabrication drawings.
Knowledge of welding symbols and joint preparation.

Experience

2–5 years in fabrication and welding.
