Job TitleBattery Plate Burning Assembler
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Battery Plate Burning Assembler with an ITI qualification. You will fuse lead plates into groups using a torch. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and manual dexterity.
Key ResponsibilitiesAlign lead plates and lugs into burning combs.Melt lead bars using an oxy-acetylene or gas torch.Fuse plates securely to terminal posts and straps.Inspect burned joints for defects, cracks, or gaps.Maintain burning torches, molds, and industrial equipment.Follow strict chemical and hazardous material safety protocols.Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Required QualificationsEducation: ITI certification in Fitter, Welder, or Electrician trades.Experience: 1–3 years in battery manufacturing is preferred.
Skills: Proficient in gas welding, torch handling, and brazing.Physical: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.Awareness: Strong understanding of lead safety and PPE usage.Work EnvironmentFactory floor with exposure to heat, lead, and acid.Mandatory use of protective gear (respirators, gloves, aprons).
