Job Title: VMC Operator / Setter / Programmer

Location: Chennai
Experience: Minimum 1 Year
Industry: Manufacturing
Job Responsibilities:

Operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines safely and efficiently
Set up jobs as per drawing and process sheet
Read and understand engineering drawings
Load tools, offsets, and fixtures
Monitor machining process and ensure quality output
Measure components using vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.
Make minor program edits at machine (for setter/programmer roles)
Maintain production and inspection records
Follow safety and 5S standards

Skills Required:

Hands-on experience in VMC machine operation
Good knowledge of cutting tools and materials
Basic CNC programming knowledge (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi – added advantage)
Ability to handle batch and production jobs
Willingness to work in shifts
