VMC Machine operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate VMC machines as per production plan and work instructions.

• Load and unload raw materials/components safely and correctly.

• Perform machine setup, job setting and fixture setting.

• Perform tool loading, tool setting and tool offset correction.

• Set and monitor work offsets and machining parameters.

• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.

• Execute VMC programs and make basic program/offset corrections when required.

• Monitor machine operation and identify abnormal conditions, alarms, vibration and tool wear.

• Replace cutting tools when required and maintain proper tool life.

• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspection.

• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge and Dial Gauge.

• Maintain dimensional accuracy and required surface finish.

• Achieve daily production targets while maintaining quality.

• Minimize rejection, rework, scrap and machine downtime.

• Maintain production records, inspection reports and machine logbooks.

• Report machine breakdowns and quality issues to the concerned supervisor.

• Follow 5S, PPE, safety procedures and company quality standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the machine.

• Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities.

• Knowledge of Fanuc / Mitsubishi / Siemens controllers is preferred

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
