Key Responsibilities:
Assembly and Fitting: Assemble, fit, and align parts for dies, tools, and machines according to technical drawings, blueprints & SOPs.
Fabrication and Repair: Construct or repair worn or damaged tools, jigs, and fixtures, using hand tools (files, hammers, saws) and machinery (grinders).
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tooling equipment to prevent malfunctions.
Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished components to ensure compliance with specifications using precision tools like micrometers vernier caliper.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in machinery and implement solutions to minimize production downtime.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including wearing protective equipment and maintaining a clean work area.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D models.
Tool Handling: Skilled in using hand tools and machine tools (e.g., grinders, mills, drills, lathes).
Experience: Proven experience as a tool fitter, toolmaker, or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Education: ITI, Diploma, CIPET DPMT.
Precision: High attention to detail and accuracy.
