About Us

DOSTAN MACHINES is a fast-growing manufacturer of Ice Cream & Dairy Processing Machinery, delivering turnkey plant solutions across India and international markets. We specialize in batch pasteurizers, ageing tanks, continuous freezers, chocolate tanks, hardening tunnels, cup & cone filling machines, and complete plant execution.

We are looking for a highly responsible and technically strong Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations.

Role Overview

The Production Manager will be responsible for end-to-end production planning, shop-floor management, quality control, and timely delivery of machines as per committed schedules.

This role demands strong leadership, technical knowledge of SS fabrication and refrigeration systems, and the ability to handle a growing production unit efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production targets

• Ensure on-time completion of machines

• Monitor WIP and remove bottlenecks

• Maintain proper production flow

Quality Control

• Ensure SS 304 material compliance

• Supervise TIG welding quality

• Conduct leak testing and performance testing

• Maintain inspection checklist before dispatch

Team Management

• Handle fabricators, welders, refrigeration technicians & helpers

• Maintain discipline and productivity

• Train and improve team performance

Inventory & Cost Control

• Monitor raw material usage

• Reduce wastage and rework

• Coordinate with purchase team for material planning

Dispatch & Installation Coordination

• Ensure machines are ready as per delivery commitments

• Support installation team with layout and technical guidance

Required Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred

• 5+ years experience in food processing / dairy machinery manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of SS tank fabrication

• Experience in refrigeration-integrated equipment

• Ability to read drawings and manage full plant assembly
