We are looking for a Fabric Store Assistant – Fabric Store with good knowledge of fabrics, fabric quality, printing, dyeing, sourcing, and fabric inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update fabric stock records, inward/outward entries, and inventory.

• Handle fabric inspection and quality checking (QC) as per required standards.

• Coordinate with the Merchant, Design, Production and Sampling teams for fabric requirements.

• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for fabric sourcing, development and follow-ups.

• Coordinate for printing, dyeing, washing and other fabric processes.

• Check fabric quality, colour, shade, GSM, width, shrinkage, defects and other specifications.

• Maintain records of fabric lots, shades, quantities and quality reports.

• Follow up with vendors regarding delivery schedules, quality issues and corrections.

• Support the team in sourcing suitable fabrics according to design and production requirements.

• Ensure proper storage, identification and handling of fabrics to avoid damage or mix-ups.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Excellent knowledge of fabrics and their properties.

• Good understanding of fabric printing, dyeing, washing and finishing processes.

• Knowledge of different types of fabrics, their quality parameters and applications.

• Good understanding of fabric QC and inspection procedures.

• Experience in dealing with fabric vendors, mills and processing units.

• Good coordination skills with Merchandising, Design, Production and QC teams.

• Good knowledge of fabric inventory and documentation.

• Garment export/design house experience will be preferred.

Experience:

2–5 years of relevant experience in a garment export house, design house, fabric store, fabric sourcing or textile industry.

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
