Key Responsibility

Set up Approval Inspection:

· Perform Set-up Approval Inspection after machine setup, tool change, or program change.

· Verify all critical dimensions as per engineering drawing.

· Inspect the first component produced after setup.

· Approve production only after confirming that all dimensions meet the specified tolerance.

Measurement Instruments Used:

• Vernier Calliper

• Micrometre (OD / ID / Depth)

• Height Gauge

• Bore Gauge

• Thread Plug Gauge / Ring Gauge

• Dial Gauge

• Slip Gauge

In-Process / Patrol Inspection:

• Conduct regular in-process inspection during production.

• Verify dimensions of parts at defined intervals.

• Ensure operators maintain required tolerances.

• Inform production immediately if any deviation is found.
