We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of 15k to 22k and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement inspection standards and quality control procedures for CNC machined and press-formed components.
In-process inspection, and final inspection using precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, Profile Projector, etc.).
Verify part dimensions and surface finish as per engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality systems. Investigate non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Coordinate with Production and Tool Room teams to resolve quality issues in CNC machining and Press operations.
Prepare quality reports, maintain records, and support APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, and other documentation.
Monitor supplier quality performance and conduct incoming material inspections.
Mplement SPC, MSA, and other quality tools for process control and improvement.
Provide training to operators on quality standards, measurement techniques, and in-process checks.
Support continuous improvement projects using Lean, Kaizen, 5 Why, and other problem- solving methodologies.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma/ BE Mechanical and 6 months to 3 years in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
