Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Control Executive with experience in fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for inspection of raw materials, in-process quality checks, final inspection of fabricated products, and maintaining quality standards for steel pallet manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform incoming material inspection for:

MS Sheet

CR Sheet

Steel Pipes

Fabrication Components

Fasteners & Hardware

Conduct in-process inspection during:

Cutting

Bending

Welding

Grinding

Powder Coating / Painting

Check dimensions using measuring instruments:

Vernier Caliper

Measuring Tape

Height Gauge

Micrometer

Ensure welding quality and fabrication standards are maintained.

Perform final inspection of steel pallets and fabricated products before dispatch.

Prepare quality inspection reports and maintain documentation.

Identify defects and coordinate with production team for corrective actions.

Monitor rejection, rework, and quality improvement activities.

Ensure products meet customer specifications and drawing requirements.

Support internal audits and quality compliance activities.

Maintain quality records, checklists, and inspection reports.

Required Skills

Knowledge of fabrication and sheet metal processes.

Understanding of welding and dimensional inspection.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Knowledge of quality standards and inspection methods.

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP, reports).

Educational Qualification

Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering

OR

Graduate with relevant quality experience in fabrication industry

Experience Required

2 to 5 years experience in:

Fabrication Industry

Sheet Metal Manufacturing

Steel Pallet Manufacturing

Industrial Quality Inspection

Preferred Industry Experience

Fabrication Industry

Sheet Metal Industry

Steel Structures

Heavy Engineering

Industrial Manufacturing

Salary Range

As per industry standards and candidate experience.
