Production Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze inventory and material details from stores for costing purposes.

• Maintain and update quotation records and enquiry tracking data.

• Review customer enquiries along with BOM (Bill of Materials) and engineering drawings.

• Coordinate with factory/production teams for feasibility analysis of components and assemblies.

• Follow up and obtain feasibility feedback from manufacturing departments.

• Prepare costing sheets by incorporating:

• Material cost

• MHR (Machine Hour Rate)

• Packing charges

• Processing and manufacturing costs

• Finalize product costing in coordination with internal departments.

• Prepare commercial quotations based on finalized costing.

• Share quotations with managers and sales teams for customer submission.

• Coordinate with cross-functional departments including stores, production, sales, and planning.

• Maintain costing documentation and quotation databases for future reference.

• Receive Purchase Orders (POs) from internal sales teams and customers.

• Coordinate with customers, managers, and sales personnel regarding delivery schedules and committed dispatch dates.

• Work closely with PPC (Production Planning & Control) teams to align production planning with customer target dates.

• Maintain and update order management data sheets and order tracking records.

• Ensure on-time deliveries by continuous coordination with production and dispatch teams.

• Follow up regularly with PPC teams regarding order status, production progress, and dispatch readiness.

• Monitor pending orders and proactively communicate delays or schedule changes to stakeholders.

• Coordinate internally between sales, production, stores, and dispatch departments for smooth order execution.
