Operations Manager – Manufacturing & E-commerce

About the Role
We are looking for a highly responsible, disciplined and execution-oriented Operations Manager to take complete ownership of day-to-day operations across our manufacturing and e-commerce functions.
This is a hands-on management position for someone who believes in getting things done on time, maintaining discipline, following up with people, solving problems and taking ownership rather than waiting for instructions.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing teams, coordinating multiple departments and ensuring that committed tasks are completed within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate daily operations across Production, Quality, E-commerce, Dispatch, Stores and related functions.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly work plans and ensure timely execution.
Allocate responsibilities to team members and continuously monitor progress.
Ensure that all employees understand their responsibilities, priorities and deadlines.
Follow up on pending work and ensure timely closure.
Identify operational delays, bottlenecks and recurring problems and take corrective action.
Maintain strong discipline, punctuality and accountability within the team.
Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor production schedules, output, quality and dispatch commitments.
Coordinate with the e-commerce team to ensure listings, orders, inventory, marketplace requirements and other tasks are completed on time.
Ensure quality-control processes are followed consistently.
Monitor attendance, productivity and performance of team members.
Maintain daily operational reports and provide concise updates to management.
Escalate important issues immediately rather than allowing problems to remain unresolved.
Establish systems, checklists and SOPs wherever required.
Track important deadlines and ensure nothing is missed.
Train, guide and improve the performance of junior employees.
Take ownership of operational problems from identification through resolution.
Ensure that management instructions are implemented properly and within the required timeline.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce wastage, reduce errors and improve efficiency.

Educational Qualification
Graduate preferred, but qualification will not be the primary selection criterion.
Practical experience, leadership ability, discipline, ownership, execution capability and proven results will carry significantly more weight.
Reporting
The Operations Manager will report directly to the Management / Director.
