Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining quality, safety, and cost standards. The role involves managing shop floor employees, monitoring processes, and ensuring smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure targets are met.

• Manage and guide operators, helpers, and technicians on the shop floor.

• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

• Monitor production processes and resolve operational issues quickly.

• Maintain product quality as per company standards.

• Ensure adherence to safety rules and company policies.

• Coordinate with maintenance team for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.

• Maintain production records, reports, and shift data.

• Reduce wastage and improve productivity through continuous improvement.

• Ensure proper housekeeping (5S) on the shop floor.

• Train new employees and improve team performance.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and team handling skills

• Good knowledge of production processes

• Problem-solving and decision-making ability

• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP systems preferred)

• Good communication skills

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field

Experience:

• 3 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing industry

• Experience in supervising shop floor operations

Working Conditions:

• Shift-based work (Day/Night shifts)

• Factory/Plant environment

• It is a Full Time తయారీ job for candidates with 3 - 6 years of experience.
