Gear Shaper Machine Operator

We are looking for a GEAR SHAPER MACHINE OPERATOR, GEAR CUTTING MACHINE to join our team at Vas Engineering Products Private Limited. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹23,000 - ₹35,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up gear shaping machine and tooling.

• Produce gears as per drawing specifications.

• Verify tooth profile, pitch, and dimensions.

• Monitor cutting parameters and tool condition.

• Perform routine machine maintenance.

• Maintain production and inspection records.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of gear manufacturing processes.

• Understanding of gear terminology and inspection.

• Ability to read gear drawings.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 2 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
