Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate CNC VMC machines for tasks like drilling, milling, and cutting.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and job orders.
Programming: Load, run, and sometimes modify G-code programs for specific parts.
Setup & Calibration: Install tools, fixtures, and raw materials; calibrate machine settings (speed, feed, coolant).
Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet precise dimensions and standards.
Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting/maintenance on the machine.
Safety: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
Documentation: Maintain production records and report machine performance.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience operating VMCs, CNC mills.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Knowledge of G-code programming.
Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
Strong focus, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Basic understanding of machining principles.
