A. Machine Operation

Operate CNC machines (turning / VMC) as per job card & SOP
Load/unload components, fixtures, tools correctly
Ensure first-off approval before batch production
Maintain cycle time as per standard

B. In-Process Quality Control

Perform dimensional checks using vernier, micrometer, gauges
Follow control plan / inspection frequency
Identify defects early and stop production if abnormality observed
Maintain in-process inspection records

C. Tool & Offset Management

Monitor tool wear and tool life
Update offsets as per need (within defined limits)
Inform supervisor for tool change or abnormal wear

D. Machine Care & 5S

Clean machine, chip removal, coolant level check
Follow daily TPM checklist
Maintain workplace discipline (5S)

E. Production Tracking

Record hourly production
Report downtime with reason codes
