Job Position : Production incharge (Sheet Metal & Fabrication)

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee our sheet metal fabrication and box manufacturing operations. You will manage end-to-end production, lead and train the workforce, and ensure high-quality output using advanced welding and cutting technologies.

Position: Production Manager (sheet metal fabrication and box manufacturing operations)

Experience: Min. 6 to 8 Years

Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Industry: Sheet Metal Fabrication / Railway fabrication parts/ Defence ammunition boxes.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations Management

Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production and dispatch schedules.

Oversee complete sheet metal fabrication processes specifically for box manufacturing.

Supervise surface treatment operations, ensuring quality standards in powder coating.

Implement and maintain strict 5S workplace organization standards across the shop floor.

Shop Floor & Production Management

Allocate workforce efficiently across the production floor.

Plan and coordinate seamless dispatch operations.

Manpower allotments.

Implement and sustain 5S methodologies across work zones.

Technical Expertise

Manage operations of advanced machinery including Laser Cutting, CNC Bending, and Stamping presses.

Ensure high-quality standards in diverse welding techniques: Spot, MIG, TIG, and Laser welding.

Knowledge / Utilize 2D/3D design software to read, interpret, and cross-check engineering drawings.

Troubleshoot technical issues on the floor using structured problem-solving methodologies.

Knowledge of tool/die and jig fixtures.

Machinery: CNC bending, laser cutting, and stamping presses.

Welding: High proficiency in spot, MIG, TIG, and laser welding methods.

Software: Familiarity with 2D/3D design software packages.

Computers: Practical knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and professional emailing.

Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Manpower Handling & Training

Manage, allocate, and optimize the existing shop floor manpower.

Use strong communication skills to train un-skilled workers into semi-skilled and skilled personnel.

Maintain a safe, productive, and highly motivated team environment.
