About the Role

Moksha Lifestyle is seeking a skilled and passionate Beauty Formulator to join our product development team on a full-time basis at our Uttar Pradesh facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in formulating skincare, haircare, or personal care products and a strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in developing innovative, safe, and effective beauty products aligned with our brand vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and formulate new beauty and personal care products including skincare, haircare, body care, or cosmetics as per brand requirements.

• Conduct lab trials, stability testing, and performance evaluations of formulations.

• Source and evaluate raw materials, cosmetic ingredients, and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

• Ensure all formulations comply with relevant regulatory standards (BIS, FDA, CDSCO) and are safe for consumer use.

• Maintain detailed formulation records, batch sheets, and lab documentation.

• Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to ensure smooth scale-up from lab to manufacturing.

• Suggest improvements to existing product formulations based on consumer feedback or market trends.

• Stay updated with the latest trends in beauty ingredients, clean beauty, and sustainable formulation practices.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree or diploma in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field

• Proven experience in beauty/cosmetic product formulation (skincare, haircare, or personal care)

• Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, emulsification, preservation systems, and pH balancing

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cosmetic products in India

• Hands-on lab experience with ability to work independently

• Good documentation and record-keeping skills
