Data Analyst / Business Analyst Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making within our NBFC operations. The role involves analyzing financial and customer data, generating insights, and assisting teams in areas such as credit risk, collections, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets related to lending, customer behavior, and financial performance

• Develop dashboards and MIS reports for business and management review

• Support credit risk analysis, underwriting insights, and portfolio monitoring

• Work closely with business teams (credit, collections, finance) to identify trends and improve processes

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems

• Assist in regulatory and compliance reporting (RBI norms, audit requirements)

• Automate reports and improve data workflows for efficiency

• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of financial services, lending lifecycle, or NBFC operations

• Basic knowledge of statistical techniques and data modeling

• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in NBFC, banking, fintech, or financial services

• Knowledge of credit risk modeling or portfolio analytics

• Familiarity with Python / R for data analysis

• Understanding of RBI regulations and reporting frameworks
