🔹 Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are consistently met across the premises. The role involves team supervision, quality checks, and efficient resource management.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

🧹 Supervision & Team Management

• Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily duties

• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and performance

• Train new employees on cleaning procedures and safety standards

• Ensure discipline and adherence to company policies

🧼 Cleaning & Maintenance Oversight

• Inspect rooms, common areas, and facilities for cleanliness and hygiene

• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Maintain high standards of sanitation and presentation

• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the maintenance team

📋 Operational Management

• Prepare duty rosters and shift schedules

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and place requisitions

• Ensure proper storage and usage of materials

• Handle lost and found items as per company policy

🤝 Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with other departments (HR, Admin, Maintenance, Clients)

• Address client or guest complaints related to housekeeping

• Ensure quick resolution of issues

📊 Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily cleaning reports and inspection checklists

• Track staff productivity and performance

• Prepare reports for management review

🔹 Skills & Requirements

• Good leadership and team management skills

• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks

🔹 Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum: 10th / 12th pass

• 2–5 years of experience in housekeeping (1–2 years in supervisory role preferred)

• Experience in facilities management / hotels / hospitals / corporate offices is an advantage
