Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities and staff deployment.

• Ensure proper bed making, linen handling, and bedding standards are maintained as per hotel protocols.

• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards in assigned areas.

• Conduct routine inspections of rooms, floors, washrooms, and common areas.

• Train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, grooming standards, and soft communication skills.

• Maintain stock of cleaning materials, linen, and housekeeping supplies.

• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

• Handle guest requests and complaints politely and efficiently.

• Maintain attendance, duty rosters, and shift schedules for housekeeping staff.

• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for smooth operations.

• Ensure timely reporting of damages, maintenance issues, or shortages.

Required Skills & Competencies :

• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and bedding procedures

• Soft-spoken, polite, and customer-service-oriented personality
