A hotel housekeeper's job involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, order, and guest satisfaction by cleaning guest rooms and public areas, making beds, restocking supplies, handling laundry, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring guest privacy and security, requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols. Key duties include dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, changing linens, replenishing amenities, and assisting guests, all while working efficiently and discreetly. 

Key Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, mirrors), and sanitizing surfaces and electronics.

• Bed Making & Linen: Changing dirty linens, replacing towels, and ensuring beds are made to hotel standards

  .

• Restocking: Replenishing toiletries, coffee, stationery, and minibar items.

• Waste Management: Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly.

• Maintenance Reporting: Identifying and reporting damages, broken appliances, or maintenance needs (e.g., light bulbs).

• Guest Services: Responding to guest requests (extra towels, cots) and handling lost & found items.

• Public Areas: Cleaning hallways, lobbies, fitness centers, and other common spaces.

• Laundry: Assisting with sorting, washing, drying, and folding hotel textiles.

• Carts & Supplies: Organizing and stocking housekeeping carts with supplies.
