About the Role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of our IT systems. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, a problem solver, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end users (onsite & remote).

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, printers, and other IT equipment.

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and system updates.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in systems like AD, Office 365, etc.

• Monitor and maintain office LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.

• Handle IT asset inventory, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, and licenses.

• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, warranty claims, and procurement.

• Ensure data security, backups, and adherence to IT policies.

• Document issues, resolutions, and maintain incident logs in the ticketing system.

• Support new joiner onboarding — system setup, email creation, device configuration.

• Provide training/guidance to employees on IT tools and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or relevant experience).

• 1–3 years of IT support/helpdesk experience.

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, antivirus tools, and ticketing systems.

• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network basics.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under minimal supervision.
