Job Summary:

AVTECH Solutions is looking for a Computer Hardware Field Engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain IT hardware and security systems at customer sites. The role requires frequent travel, strong technical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Diagnose and repair hardware issues on-site.

Install and troubleshoot Windows OS, drivers, and software.

Perform preventive maintenance and health checks.

Install and support networking devices (routers, switches, Wi-Fi).

Install and service CCTV systems, biometric devices, access control systems, and boom barriers.

Troubleshoot LAN, internet, and basic server connectivity issues.

Replace faulty hardware components such as RAM, SSD/HDD, motherboard, SMPS, and monitors.

Maintain service reports, installation reports, and customer sign-offs.

Coordinate with the office for spare parts, warranty claims, and service scheduling.

Follow company SOPs and safety procedures while working at customer locations.

Required Skills

Knowledge of computer hardware and networking.

Experience with Windows installation and troubleshooting.

Basic understanding of CCTV, biometric, and access control systems.

Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Ability to work independently and travel to customer locations.
