Job Title: CCTV Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CCTV Engineer to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems and related security solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience with IP and analog CCTV systems, networking, and security equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and commission CCTV surveillance systems.

• Install and maintain IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and video management systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.

• Diagnose and resolve faults in CCTV and security systems.

• Configure network devices such as switches, routers, and wireless equipment.

• Install and maintain access control, biometric, and alarm systems.

• Run and terminate network and power cabling.

• Test systems and ensure proper functionality.

• Provide technical support and user training to clients.

• Prepare service reports and installation documentation.

• Follow safety standards and company procedures.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of analog and IP CCTV systems.

• Experience with DVR, NVR, and IP camera configuration.

• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN).

• Understanding of structured cabling and cable termination.

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with access control and biometric systems.

• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI/Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• 1–5 years of experience in CCTV and security system installation and maintenance.

• Certifications such as Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell, or Bosch are an advantage.

• Valid driving license (preferred for field engineers).

Preferred Experience:

• Installation of CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and intrusion alarm systems.

• Network configuration and troubleshooting.

• Experience with remote monitoring and video management software (VMS).

Work Environment:

• Field-based role involving travel to customer sites.

• May require working at heights and occasional after-hours support.
