Role & responsibilities:
Footage Review & Organization:
Import, log, and organize raw video and audio footage.
Review material to determine the most effective shots for the final product.
Editing & Post-Production:
Trim, cut, and sequence footage to create engaging narratives.
Add music, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects.
Ensure seamless transitions, color correction, and grading for a polished look.
Sync audio and video properly.
Collaboration:
Work closely with directors, producers, cinematographers, and sound designers to understand the creative vision.
Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
Technical Proficiency:
Operate industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.
Stay updated with new editing technologies, plugins, and formats.
Version Management:
Manage multiple versions and formats of the same video.
Maintain clear version control and archive project files appropriately.
Content Adaptation:
Reformat videos for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TV, cinema).
Create teaser trailers, highlight reels, or short-form content as needed.
Time & Deadline Management:
Adhere to project deadlines, sometimes under tight schedules.
Prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously when required.
