Job Summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales for plastic products by developing new customers, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets across B2B and B2C segments. The role involves field sales, customer coordination, order execution, and market development.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Generate new business opportunities in B2B (OEMs, distributors, dealers, industrial clients) and B2C markets
Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets
Promote company plastic products to prospective and existing customers
Conduct regular market visits, cold calls, and follow-ups
Assist in expanding dealer/distributor networks
Customer Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable products
Prepare quotations, negotiate prices as per company policy, and close orders
Handle customer complaints and coordinate with internal teams for resolution
Order Processing & Coordination
Coordinate with production, planning, dispatch, and accounts teams for timely order execution
Ensure proper documentation such as purchase orders, delivery schedules, and invoices
Follow up on payments and outstanding receivables
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities
Submit daily/weekly sales reports and MIS
Maintain accurate customer and sales records in ERP/CRM systems
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Knowledge of plastic products and manufacturing processes (preferred)
Ability to work independently and in a target-driven environment
Good negotiation and follow-up skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP/CRM)
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred)
Experience
1–4 years of experience in sales (plastic manufacturing, FMCG, building materials, or industrial products preferred)
Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also be considered
