Job Description for Sales Executive :
Position Overview:
The Store Executive for the showroom is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, managing inventory, and maintaining the showroom's appearance. This role involves collaborating with the showroom team to meet sales targets, uphold brand standards, and create a welcoming environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
· Welcome customers with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
· Assist customers in finding products, providing detailed information, and suggesting
suitable options.
· Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
· Ensure a positive and memorable shopping experience for all showroom visitors.
2. Inventory Management:
· Receive, inspect, and manage incoming inventory shipments accurately.
· Regularly monitor stock levels and anticipate inventory needs based on sales Trends.
· Conduct stock counts, manage replenishment orders, and maintain optimal Product availability.
3. Visual Presentation:
· Arrange products and displays to create an appealing and organized showroom layout.
· Implement and maintain visual merchandising guidelines to showcase products effectively.
· Update displays to highlight promotions, new arrivals, and seasonal themes.
4. Sales Targets:
· Collaborate with the showroom team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Provide input and suggestions to improve sales strategies and customer engagement.
· Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
5. Point of Sale Operations :
· Process customer transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system.
· Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment securely.
· Maintain the cash register and reconcile daily sales transactions.
6. Store Maintenance :
· Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the showroom at all times.
· Perform routine cleaning tasks and keep displays dust-free and attractive.
· Report maintenance issues or repairs to the appropriate department.
7. Reporting:
· Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer interactions.
· Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to product displays or pricing.
8. Team Collaboration:
· Work collaboratively with the showroom team to achieve shared goals.
· Communicate effectively with colleagues about stock availability, promotions, and customer feedback.
