1. Role Objective To drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, managing sales cycles, and contributing to Vulcan’s expansion in Smart City, ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems), Infrastructure, and Digital Display segments.
2.Key Responsibilities
A. Business Development & Lead Generation
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Government, EPC, SI (System Integrators), and Private sectors
• Generate leads through: - Tender portals (GeM, eProcurement, etc.) - Networking with consultants, EPC contractors, and ITS players - Cold outreach, LinkedIn, and industry events
• Maintain a strong pipeline aligned with company targets B. Sales Execution • Handle end-to-end sales cycle: Lead qualification → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Present Vulcan’s solutions including: - Smart VMS / VMD - LED Display Systems - Traffic & Road Safety Solutions - Video Walls & Control Room Solutions
• Coordinate with internal teams for techno-commercial proposals
C. Client Relationship Management
• Build long-term relationships with Government authorities, System Integrators, and Infrastructure companies
• Act as the first point of contact for client queries
• Ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
D. Tendering & Proposal Support
• Track and evaluate relevant tenders
• Support preparation of BOQs, technical documents, and compliance sheets
• Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for inputs
E. Market Intelligence
• Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and new technologies
• Identify emerging opportunities in Smart Cities, Highways / Expressways, Tunnel Projects, Airports / Metro Projects
F. Internal Coordination
• Work closely with Engineering, Production & Dispatch, and Accounts teams
• Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution
