Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities across target segments:
Industries (steel, cement, auto, pharma, FMCG, etc.)
Electrical contractors & EPC partners
Infrastructure & real-estate projects
Large retailers and distribution partnersshreenm
Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, referrals, online portals, and industry networks.
Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and techno-commercial discussions on our portfolio (Polycab wires & cables, 3M jointing kits, switchgear, lighting, etc.
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and follow up for order closure and payments.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers (procurement, project heads, consultants).
Track RFQs, tenders, and upcoming project opportunities in the region.
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Maintain daily visit reports, sales pipeline, and customer database in CRM/HRMS (e.g., Keka or similar).
Coordinate internally with sales support, dispatch, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
Represent the company at industry meets, trade fairs, and client events as needed.
