Position: EDC (Electronic Data Capture) Machine Sales Executive / Field Sales Officer

Job Summary

The EDC Machine Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling card swipe machines (POS/EDC terminals) to retail stores, restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, and other businesses. The role involves merchant acquisition, product demonstrations, installation coordination, and relationship management to increase digital payment acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential merchants for EDC machine installation.

• Promote POS/Card Swipe Machines and digital payment solutions.

• Explain product features, transaction processes, and benefits to merchants.

• Conduct field visits and generate new business opportunities.

• Achieve monthly sales and installation targets.

• Coordinate with operations and technical teams for machine deployment.

• Maintain relationships with existing merchants and provide after-sales support.

• Collect and verify merchant documentation required for onboarding.

• Monitor merchant transaction activity and encourage higher usage.
