Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Field Sales Executive to join Paytm’s on-ground sales team. The role involves acquiring new merchants, promoting Paytm’s digital payment solutions, and driving adoption across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new merchants (retailers, small businesses, vendors) to use Paytm services (QR, Soundbox, POS devices, etc.)

• Conduct field visits daily to generate leads and close sales

• Educate merchants on the benefits of digital payments and Paytm products

• Achieve monthly sales and activation targets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants for long-term engagement

• Ensure proper installation and activation of Paytm devices/services

• Provide after-sales support and resolve merchant queries

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report progress regularly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory)

• 0–3 years of experience in field sales, FMCG, telecom, or fintech

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

• Comfortable with extensive fieldwork and travel

• Basic understanding of smartphones and digital payment apps
