Field Sales Executive – Fabric Distribution (Kolkata-Based)

Locations Covered: West Bengal, Bihar & Jharkhand

We are a Kolkata-based fabric distribution company seeking experienced Field Sales Executives to expand our network across West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand. The role involves regular market visits, showcasing fabric samples, taking orders, and developing long-term relationships with wholesalers, retailers and dealers.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit wholesalers, retailers and dealers in the assigned territory

• Show fabric sample books and explain product quality, designs, pricing and USPs

• Generate new leads and open new retail/dealer counters

• Take repeat orders from existing customers

• Achieve monthly sales and collection targets

• Plan and execute tour programs for outstation visits (Bihar, Jharkhand, other parts of WB)

• Maintain daily visit reports, order details and payment status

• Coordinate with the back-office team for billing, dispatch, delivery and follow-ups

Required Skills

• Strong communication and convincing skills

• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships

• Basic smartphone knowledge (WhatsApp, email, photos, location sharing)

Travel & Physical Requirements

• Willing to travel 15–20 days per month across Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal

• Comfortable carrying fabric sample bags (with trolley), approx. 10–15 kg
