Role Summary
We are looking for a field-sales professional to grow our retail distribution network across Mumbai. This is a shop-toshop role: you will distribute product catalogs, introduce new models, onboard furniture retailers and traders, and increase wholesale sales via relationship building and regular territory coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Visit furniture shops and retailers across Mumbai (daily shop-to-shop travel) to present our product catalog and new collections.
Generate new distribution partnerships (furniture shops/retailers) and expand sales channels.
Close wholesale orders and follow up to ensure timely invoicing and delivery coordination.
Maintain CRM or spreadsheet of leads, retailers, sales, and follow-ups; submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
Conduct product demos, explain features/benefits, and handle pricing/negotiation with buyers. Meet or exceed monthly sales and retailer-onboarding targets.
Represent OBIZZ at local trade shows, market visits and product launches when required.
Coordinate with operations and logistics teams for samples, deliveries and stock reconciliation.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
1–3+ years (preferred) of sales experience in office furniture, B2B wholesale, or retail distribution. Candidates with direct experience selling office chairs or related furniture will be given top priority.
Fluent in English and Hindi. Gujarati is a strong plus.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Comfortable with extensive travel across Mumbai; streetwise and able to manage a sales territory independently
Basic smartphone skills; ability to maintain recordsin Excel/Google Sheets or a CRM.
Self-motivated, target-driven, organized and honest
Own transport (two-wheeler/car) and valid driver’s license preferred — important for timely shop visits.
