About the Role
We are a fast-growing electric vehicle startup focused on sustainable last-mile transportation solutions. Our mission is to accelerate the shift from internal combustion engines to next-generation electric vehicles and become a category leader in cargo and passenger EV segments. We are building a robust 4-wheeler EV platform and expanding our presence across key markets.
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Territory Sales Manager / Territory Sales Executive to drive sales performance and expand market share in Pune.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
Drive retail sales and ensure achievement of sales KPIs.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Understand customer requirements and propose suitable EV solutions.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify potential customers through field visits, networking, and cold calling.
Conduct BTL activities to generate qualified leads.
Achieve daily visit and trial targets.
4. Sales Presentations & Demonstrations
Deliver compelling product presentations and vehicle demonstrations.
Highlight product benefits, features, and cost advantages of EVs.
5. Negotiation & Closing
Negotiate commercial terms to achieve win-win outcomes.
Close sales efficiently and ensure timely payment collections.
6. Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, discounts, and schemes.
Provide feedback to management on market trends and customer insights.
7. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Coordinate with dealership teams, financiers, brokers, and cargo union leaders.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in field sales (automotive/EV industry preferred).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to achieve sales targets (Minimum target: 3 vehicles per month).
Daily field engagement (Approx. 25 customer visits per day & 20 trials per month).
Experience working with dealership teams and business stakeholders.
Self-motivated, performance-driven, and willing to travel within Pune territory.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Prior experience in automotive, EV, or commercial vehicle sales is an advantage.
