We are looking for a Fashion Merchandiser to join our team at Afflatus International. The Assistant Merchandiser will support the Merchandising team in coordinating with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth order execution, timely sample development, and production follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior merchandiser in handling daily communication with buyers and vendors.

• Follow up on sample development, production status, and dispatch schedules.

• Coordinate with the design, production, and QA teams for smooth workflow.

• Prepare and maintain TNA (Time & Action) calendars for orders.

• Maintain records of sampling, costing, approvals, and purchase orders.

• Help in preparing internal order sheets, BOMs, and cost sheets.

• Support in arranging trims, fabrics, and packaging materials from vendors.

• Monitor shipment schedules and assist in logistics coordination.

• Update internal systems and reports for production status and order tracking.

• Ensure buyer compliance and assist in documentation for audits and quality checks.

Key Skills Required:

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Basic knowledge of garment construction and fabrics

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email writing

• Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment

• Knowledge of export documentation (preferred)

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, or related field

• Candidates with NIFT, Pearl, or equivalent background will be preferred
