ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a versatile, highly skilled Fashion Designer who thrives at the intersection of technical execution and creative storytelling. In this role, you will not just design clothing; you will help shape the visual identity of our brand. You will own the product lifecycle from initial trend research and pattern conceptualization to final tech packs, while also translating our collection narratives into compelling lookbooks and social media content.

This is a dynamic position for a self-starter who possesses elite technical apparel skills and an eye for digital brand engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Collection Design & Concept Development

• Research global trends, consumer behavior, and innovative materials to pitch cohesive, inspiring collection concepts.

• Develop mood boards, color palettes, and textile directions that align with the brand’s core aesthetic.

• Translate abstract concepts into commercially viable, high-performance apparel designs.

2. Technical Design & Pattern Making

• Create precise initial patterns and drape prototypes to establish fit intent and garment architecture.

• Develop comprehensive, production-ready Tech Packs including detailed CAD sketches, construction specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), and graded measurement charts.

• Collaborate closely with manufacturing vendors to oversee sample iterations, ensuring impeccable fit, functionality, and quality control.

3. Visual Storytelling & Lookbooks

• Illustrate high-quality, evocative lookbooks and line sheets for internal alignment and external marketing.

• Collaborate on the creative direction of product shoots, ensuring the design's intent translates perfectly to digital media.

4. Brand Amplification & Social Media Management

• Bridge the gap between design and community by helping curate and manage our social media presence (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest).

• Create engaging "behind-the-scenes" content highlighting the design process, sustainability efforts, fabric testing, and pattern making to build brand authenticity.

• Ensure all digital content aligns seamlessly with the aesthetic and voice of the current collections.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXEPRIENCE

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Tech, or a related field.

• Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in fashion design, technical design, or pattern making (experience in premium or performance apparel is a major plus).

• Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and digital pattern-making software.

  • Expertise in garment construction, fabric performance, and creating flawless tech packs.

• Creative Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating flawless technical sketches, hand or digital illustrations, and successfully launched apparel pieces.

  CORE COMPETENCIES

• Autonomy & Authority: High accountability with the ability to manage vendors, meet strict production deadlines, and take ownership of projects.

• Communication: Exceptional visual and verbal communication skills to present ideas to leadership and engage with our online community.

• Impeccable Attention to Detail: Essential for drafting flawless technical patterns, catching minor discrepancies in sample iterations, and ensuring tech packs are 100% accurate before they hit the factory floor.

• Sharp Memory & Focus: Ability to track multiple sample revisions, vendor feedback, and design adjustments across various sizing ranges simultaneously without losing sight of the collection's overall vision.

• Punctuality & Deadline-Driven: A strict respect for the production calendar. You understand that a delay in design or tech pack delivery ripples down the entire supply chain, and you take pride in meeting timelines.

• Respect for Company Policy & Confidentiality: High professional integrity regarding intellectual property, proprietary design techniques, vendor data protection, and brand guidelines.

SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED

Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, Google Docs, and Canva (preferred).
