An Event Promotion Manager drives attendance and revenue for events by developing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics from conception to post-event analysis. Key responsibilities include creating promotional campaigns, securing sponsorships, managing vendor relationships, and leveraging digital marketing to ensure high engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Execution: Create and implement campaigns to promote events, driving attendance through social media and digital channels.Sponsorship & Partnership: Identify and secure sponsors to enhance event experience and revenue.Budget Management: Develop, manage, and adhere to budgets to ensure profitability.Logistics & Vendor Management: Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and venues.On-Site Coordination: Oversee event operations, including registration and attendee satisfaction.Post-Event Reporting: Analyze event success using KPIs to provide ROI analysis.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: Proven experience (often 2+ years) in event management, marketing, or project management.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Organization: Strong project management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts.Education: Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, or hospitality management preferred.Common QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.Strong leadership skills to guide teams and volunteers.Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues on-site.
