Job Description – Technical Support Executive (Electrical & Electronics)

Job Summary

Shoption Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Technical Support Executive with strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and providing technical support for the company's electrical and electronic products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PCB diagnosis, electrical wiring, and electronic component-level troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and the sales team regarding product installation, operation, and troubleshooting.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic product issues through phone, video call, WhatsApp, or onsite support.

• Assist customers with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and product servicing.

• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.

PCB Troubleshooting & Repair

• Diagnose and repair faulty PCBs at the component level.

• Identify and replace defective electronic components such as:

  • Resistors

  • Capacitors

  • Diodes

  • Transistors

  • MOSFETs

  • Relays

  • ICs

  • Connectors

  • Fuses

  • Voltage Regulators

• Perform soldering and de-soldering of electronic components.

• Test repaired PCBs to ensure proper functionality.

Electrical Troubleshooting

• Diagnose faults in electrical circuits and control panels.

• Perform wiring, continuity, insulation, and voltage testing.

• Identify issues related to switches, relays, contactors, MCBs, SMPS, transformers, and power supply circuits.

• Ensure safe handling of electrical equipment and adherence to safety standards.

Product Testing & Quality

• Conduct functional testing of products before dispatch.

• Verify electrical parameters using testing instruments.

• Maintain quality standards during repair and testing.

• Prepare service and testing reports.

Documentation

• Maintain service records, repair logs, and testing reports.

• Document recurring technical issues and suggest corrective actions.

• Update troubleshooting records for future reference.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.

• PCB troubleshooting and component-level repair.

• Hands-on experience in soldering and de-soldering.

• Ability to read basic electrical and electronic circuit diagrams.

• Knowledge of AC/DC power supply systems.

• Experience using Multimeter, Clamp Meter, and other electrical testing instruments.

• Basic understanding of SMPS, relays, transformers, motors, and control circuits.

• Good fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.
