Operate, inspect, and maintain HT and LT panels, transformers, switchgear, bus ducts, and distribution boards as per OEM recommendations and safety standards.​

Perform routine and breakdown maintenance of 500 kVA and above diesel generator sets, including start/stop operations, load management, fuel system checks, cooling system upkeep, and logbook maintenance.​

Support chiller plant operation (central HVAC), including electrical panels, pumps, cooling towers, AHU/FAHU/VAV electrical controls, and interlocks with BMS where applicable.​

Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance for building electrical systems: lighting, power circuits, earthing, UPS input/output feeders, cabling, and control wiring in IT floors, server rooms, and common areas.​

Diagnose and rectify electrical faults using testing instruments (multimeter, megger, clamp meter, relay test kits etc.) ensuring minimal downtime and proper root‑cause analysis.​

Monitor and record parameters of HT/LT feeders, DG sets, and chiller systems, and escalate abnormalities to the Engineer/Facility Manager with corrective action suggestions.​

Ensure compliance with electrical safety practices: LOTO, use of PPE, insulation resistance testing, earth continuity checks, and adherence to relevant codes/standards.​

Coordinate with OEM/service vendors during annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) for DG sets, HT/LT equipment, and chillers, and assist in testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.​

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, checklists, spares consumption, and fault history in logbooks or CMMS as per site procedures.​

Provide technical support during power shutdowns, changeovers (utility–DG–UPS), new fit‑outs, and minor installation/modification work within the building.​
