Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and strategic social media assistant to work in our marketing
department. The social media assistant is responsible for brainstorming campaigns, creating
social media posts, content strategies, editorial calendars and analysing analytics.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a
team player. You will be an active participant in data collection and analyses in order to
consistently improve the company’s social media practices over time.
Essential Responsibilities:
● Analyze user engagement (e.g., click-through and bounce rates)
● Report on web traffic from all social media
● Build and support SEO strategies, including optimizing keywords in content
marketing projects
● Identify habits of our online customers and suggest ways to reach a broader
audience
● Maintain a cohesive strategy across all platforms to increase our brand
awareness
● Coordinate with the Social Media Manager to execute social media marketing
strategies
● Ensure timely responses to customers and followers’ queries and comments
● Updating our social media accounts and posting content calendars
● Overseeing ad campaigns, promotions, and competitions
● Optimizing content for different platforms
● Scheduling content release times for maximum effect
● Responding to engagement and reader’s questions
● Collaborating with designers and videographers
Skills Required:
● Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YT,
etc.

● A degree in communication, marketing, or social media.
