Key Responsibilities:
Ticketing & Transport Management
Booking & Issuance: Book domestic and international tickets using GDS platforms like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
Fare Management: Calculate accurate fare quotes, check baggage limits, and ensure compliance with airline policies and visa rules.
Disruption Handling: Manage rebooking, flight delays, cancellations, and process passenger refunds. [1, 2]
Hotel & Accommodation Management
Inventory Control: Process room reservations directly, update property management systems, and manage Online Travel Agency (OTA) channels to avoid overbooking. [1, 2]
Rate & Package Sales: Apply dynamic pricing strategies, and upsell premium rooms, dining, or special packages. [1, 2]
Guest Coordination: Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure room readiness and meet special requests prior to arrival. [1, 2]
General Booking Operations
Customer Communication: Respond to inquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, chat) and resolve any payment or system glitches.
