Job Overview

We are looking for dynamic, motivated, and student-focused International Admission Counselors to guide students and parents through their overseas education journey.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, a strong sales orientation, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with prospective students. The role involves managing leads, counselling students, recommending suitable courses and universities, driving enrolments, and supporting students throughout the admission process.

Both Work From Office and Work From Home opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities, courses, universities, and study destinations.

• Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, interests, and preferences to recommend suitable options.

• Handle and manage leads received through online and offline channels.

• Conduct timely follow-ups and convert qualified leads into successful admissions.

• Achieve assigned admission and enrolment targets through effective B2C sales strategies.

• Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.

• Explain university eligibility criteria, admission procedures, application timelines, and documentation requirements.

• Guide students regarding SOPs, LORs, academic documents, applications, and visa-related documentation.

• Assist students with university applications and ensure submissions are completed accurately and within deadlines.

• Maintain updated knowledge of overseas education systems, universities, courses, intakes, scholarships, and visa processes.

• Maintain strong working knowledge of at least 1–2 key study destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or other international destinations.

• Conduct and participate in seminars, webinars, workshops, education fairs, university visits, and other student outreach activities.

• Deliver presentations and counselling sessions to students through physical or virtual platforms.

• Maintain accurate lead, follow-up, application, and conversion records in CRM systems.

• Prepare regular reports and provide updates to management.

• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and university relations teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding and admission journey.

• Contribute towards overall enrolment, sales, and business objectives.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Education, Business, Management, or related fields preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in overseas education consulting, international admissions, EdTech, academic counselling, or B2C sales.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Excellent counselling, convincing, and influencing skills.

• Strong sales and lead-conversion orientation.

• Good follow-up and customer relationship management skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge of overseas education and international study destinations is preferred.

• Familiarity with university applications, SOPs, LORs, and visa documentation is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and meet assigned targets.

• Fluency in multiple languages will be an added advantage.

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Note: Work location and compensation will depend on the position and candidate profile.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be confident, target-oriented, persuasive, approachable, and passionate about helping students achieve their overseas education goals. Candidates with strong communication, counselling, follow-up, and lead-conversion skills will be preferred.
