Role Overview
The Assistant Manager at Turbo Shack is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the RC arena and retail section. This role involves supervising staff, managing customer experience, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all SOPs are followed during opening, live operations, and closing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
Oversee daily opening and closing procedures as per SOP
Ensure all RC cars, batteries, and equipment are functional and ready
Monitor arena zones (Race Track, Off-Road, Construction) for smooth gameplay
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of the kiosk/store
2. Staff Supervision
Manage shift allocation and staff responsibilities
Handle shift transitions and proper handovers between employees
Train new staff on operations, safety, and customer handling
Ensure discipline, punctuality, and performance standards are maintained
3. Customer Experience
Greet and assist customers in understanding the RC experience
Resolve customer issues, complaints, or technical difficulties
Ensure players follow safety rules while using RC cars
Upsell services, products, and extended play sessions
4. Inventory & Equipment Management
Track RC cars, batteries, controllers, and spare parts
Ensure timely charging and rotation of batteries
Report damages, losses, or maintenance requirements
Coordinate with vendors or management for repairs/replacements
5. Sales & Revenue Support
Support retail sales (RC cars, toys, accessories, merchandise)
Monitor daily sales & Maintain basic billing and transaction records
Suggest offers, combos, and promotional ideas
6. Reporting & Coordination
Share daily reports on operations, issues, and sales
Escalate major problems to the Store/Operations Manager
Maintain records of incidents, damages, and customer feedback
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in retail, gaming, entertainment, or hospitality
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good communication and customer-handling ability
Basic technical understanding (RC cars / gaming equipment is a plus)
Problem-solving mindset and quick decision-making ability

Interest in automobiles, RC cars, or gaming
High energy and ability to manage kids and families
Attention to detail (especially equipment handling)
Ability to work during weekends and peak hours

Compensation
Salary: 25000 - 35000 Rupees
