A Tandoor Commis–II is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of tandoor items such as naan, roti, kulcha, kebabs, and grilled dishes as per standard recipes and quality guidelines. The role includes preparing mise-en-place, marinating meats and vegetables, maintaining proper tandoor temperature, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation, and following food safety and hygiene standards. The Commis–II supports the senior chef in daily kitchen operations, maintains cleanliness of the tandoor section, monitors stock levels, and ensures timely service during operational hours. The candidate should have basic hands-on experience in tandoor cooking, good knowledge of North Indian cuisine, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
