Prepare authentic South Indian dishes, with a primary focus on South Indian cuisine.
Have expertise in making dosa, masala dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambhar, rasam, and different types of chutneys.
Prepare dosa batter, idli batter, and other South Indian preparations.
Maintain the taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
Manage the South Indian kitchen section independently.
Ensure proper food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Maintain ingredient stock and minimize food wastage.
Follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.
Requirements:
Must have strong experience in South Indian cuisine.
Expertise in dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambhar, and chutneys is essential.
Should be able to handle the South Indian section independently.
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen management is preferred.
Note: South Indian cuisine should be the chef’s primary specialization.
