Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate South Indian Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine, food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. The candidate must be able to maintain consistent taste, quality, and presentation while ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambhar, chutneys, and other regional specialities.

• Manage daily food preparation and kitchen operations.

• Maintain consistent taste, quality, portion sizes, and presentation.

• Ensure proper food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.

• Monitor kitchen inventory and minimise food wastage.

• Check the freshness and quality of ingredients.

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation.

• Maintain standard recipes and follow kitchen procedures.

• Assist with menu planning and new dish development.

• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience as a South Indian Chef or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.

• Ability to prepare a variety of South Indian dishes independently.

• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management.

• Good time management and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Culinary training or a relevant qualification is preferred.

• It is a Full Time కుక్ / చెఫ్ job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
