Pizza Maker

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic QSR Pizza Chef to join our fast-paced Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, managing kitchen operations efficiently, and maintaining a consistent focus on speed, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. The Pizza Chef will ensure that each pizza meets our restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and speed of service.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Pizza Preparation:

o.Prepare and cook pizzas following standardized recipes, ensuring consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.

o.Manage pizza dough preparation, topping placement, and baking, ensuring high-quality results.

o.Monitor and control the pizza-making process to ensure efficiency and speed in a fast-paced QSR environment.

2.Kitchen Operations:

o.Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

o.Ensure all ingredients and food supplies are stocked and available for quick preparation during peak hours.

o.Follow portion control and food waste management practices.

3.Hygiene & Safety:

o.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pizza-making station and adhere to food safety regulations.

o.Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring proper handling and storage of food products.

o.Regularly clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, tools, and equipment.

4.Team Collaboration:

oWork closely with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

oAssist in training new team members on pizza-making procedures and kitchen safety practices.

oCommunicate effectively with the team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and promptly.

5.Customer Focus:

oPrepare pizzas quickly while maintaining high quality to meet customer expectations in a high-volume setting.

oRespond to special customer requests, including dietary preferences and customization of pizzas.

oEnsure customer satisfaction by maintaining high food quality and consistency in every order.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef, preferably in a QSR or fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Proficiency in pizza-making techniques, including dough handling, topping combinations, and oven management.

• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, especially pizza ovens.

• Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver orders within a quick turnaround time.

• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and inventory management.

• Culinary diploma or training is a plus but not mandatory.

• 1–5 years of experience in pizza maker
