Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and skilled Pastry Chef Cum Cake Decorator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, and customized cake decorations while maintaining presentation and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, brownies, cookies, and other baked products.

• Design and decorate customized cakes as per customer requirements.

• Handle fondant work, cream finishing, theme cakes, and dessert presentation.

• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.

• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team for timely order execution.

• Innovate and introduce new dessert and cake designs periodically.

• Monitor wastage and maintain cost control.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of baking and pastry preparation.

• Expertise in cake decoration and finishing techniques.

• Knowledge of fondant, whipped cream, ganache, and chocolate work.

• Creativity and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good team coordination and time management skills.

Qualification

• Diploma or certification in Bakery & Pastry Arts preferred.

• Relevant experience in reputed bakery/pastry kitchens.

• Flexible to work on weekends and festive occasions.
